The Centre is open. Museum opens June 26th till September 1st. Hours of operation: Monday to Friday- 10:00 to 4:30, Saturday and Sunday - 1:00 to 4:30. Admission: $5.00. Students free.

Norris Arm Heritage & Arts Centre is a multi-purpose facility operating from May till December. It houses the Fox Moth Museum as well as the Arts Centre used for Entertainment Tourism. The museum is seasonally operated from July till September. Hours of Operation are:
Monday to Friday 10:00 AM - 4:30 PM
Weekends 1:00 - 4:30 PM

THE HERITAGE SITE

Centrally Located in Notre Dame Bay, Newfoundland

The Norris Arm Heritage & Arts Centre is the result of the hard work of a group of caring and devoted individuals who have dedicated their time and resources to preserving the history of Norris Arm. The Centre was officially opened in June of 1999, and is owned and operated by the Norris Arm Heritage Society. It contains large collections of photographs, artifacts, information, as well as a collection of cemetery transcriptions for the local area. It also features a gift shop, and a sound stage for Entertainment Tourism.

View the Living History of 9/11 in Norris Arm

Learn how the residents of Norris Arm shared their homes and community with a group of international passengers stranded in Newfoundland because of the terrorist attacks in New York. Watch video, listen to testimonials, view photos and slide shows depicting Three Days in September. Ask questions of those who lived the experience.

To make sure you make the most out of your visit to Norris Arm Heritage & Arts Centre, we offer different options when touring our museum. You can take advantage of our on site guides who will gladly take you through the museum while explaining the history of the area. If you would rather move through on your own, feel free. Our guides will still be  there to answer any questions you may have.

GETTING HERE

Norris Arm Heritage & Arts Centre is accessible by car and tour bus. We are also located on the Trans Canada Trail, so travel by ATV is possible. Ask about our Tour and Lunch package.
