Sherry Ryan and Flower Hill

Sherry Ryan (guitar and vocals), Andrea Monro (banjo and vocals), and Maria Cherwick (fiddle and vocals) combine their beautiful harmonies and instrumentation to bring you music of bluegrass and country legends Dolly Parton, Bill Monroe, Gillian Welch, Patsy Cline and Anne Murray to name a few.

Sherry's song ‘Stop The Trains’ has quickly become a part of the Newfoundland canon of legendary songs. Andrea has performed in Canada and the UK, and in recent years in country folk duo Blue Star Juniper with Craig Young. Maria Cherwick is a highly trained violinist who's music has taken her around the world as a performer of both classical and folk music.

Since teaming up in 2016, Flower Hill has been featured on CBC radio and television specials, toured all Arts & Culture Centres in the province and performed on the Newfoundland & Labrador Folk Festival.
